How can I make a reservation?
We accepting online bookings through either Airbnb or Hipcamp. Feel free to contact us directly with any other questions about how to make reservations.
Are car camping and campervans permitted?
Yes, car camping and campervans are permitted at our campground. Some sites are better suited to accommodate them than others. Site 7, in particular, is an excellent spot for car camping and campervans. Its proximity to the road and ample width make it easier for vehicles to pull in and out.
Is Wandering Woodlands pet friendly?
Yes, our campground is pet friendly! We welcome your furry friends but kindly ask that pets be leashed at all times. Additionally, please ensure to pick up after your pet to keep the campground clean and enjoyable for all guests.
Are campfires allowed?
Yes, campfires are allowed at our campground when no fire ban is in place. Please ensure that fires are kept under 2 feet tall for safety. During a fire ban, traditional campfires are not permitted, but you are welcome to use propane fire pits instead. Always check current fire regulations before starting a fire.
Is 4-wheel drive required to access your campground?
No 4-wheel drive required to access our campground. The journey to our site is smooth, as it follows flat, paved county roads all the way to the campground entrance.
What are the quiet hours?
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. While guests are welcome to arrive after quiet hours, we kindly ask that they be mindful of their noise level to ensure a peaceful environment for all campers.
Are bathrooms available?
Yes, we provide a clean and regularly serviced porta potty, along with a hand washing station for your convenience. Please note that dishes or food are not allowed in the hand washing station.
Is potable water available?
Not at this time. We are working towards adding this amenity in the future.
How can I avoid dead-end roads while driving to your campground?
To prevent Google Maps from leading you astray, use Apple maps or follow our detailed instructions below.
1. From Forks, drive North until you reach La Push Road.
2. Turn left onto La Push Road
3. After about 3 miles turn right onto Quillayute Road
4. After 4 miles turn right onto Mina Smith road
5. After 0.8 miles turn right onto Wentworth Road
6. Drive about 1 mile down Wentworth Road until the end of the road.
7. At the end of the road, the campsite will be on your left hand side!
